Apollos

Apollos is the academic imprint of the British Inter-Varsity Press, its first books appearing in 1989 to carry a more scholarly list than the parent house's Christian-living titles.¹ It publishes the Apollos Old Testament Commentary and the New Studies in Biblical Theology series, and co-publishes the Pillar New Testament Commentary with Eerdmans in the United States.² Those are not separate British and American printings: a Pillar volume is one book carrying both houses' ISBNs, and its copyright page names Apollos outright as an imprint of Inter-Varsity Press. The address printed there tracks the parent's moves — 38 De Montfort Street, Leicester on Morris's Romans of 1988 and Moo's James of 2000; Norton Street, Nottingham on Kruse's Romans of 2012 and Seifrid's 2 Corinthians of 2014 — all four catalogued here.
