The Works of Thomas Manton
One author — Thomas Manton · est. 2020 · 22-volume set · ISBN 9781848719132
A facsimile of the James Nisbet & Co. edition of 1870, entirely sermons apart from two commentaries (on James and Jude) — the legacy of a lifetime of expository preaching Spurgeon called consistently excellent for "solid, sensible instruction forcibly delivered," and J. C. Ryle rated "facile princeps among the divines of the Puritan school" for scriptural exposition. Banner sold individual volumes for decades before this — volume 2 carries its own 1993 ISBN — but this cloth-bound, Smyth-sewn 2020 printing was the first time Banner issued the complete 22-volume set together. Currently sold as nine bundled products (vols. 1-3, 4, 5, 6-9, 10-12, 13-15, 16-17, 18-21, 22) rather than 22 individual SKUs, but each volume is catalogued here separately to match its own distinct content and numbering.
