Banner's long-running paperback line, which put the Puritans within reach of ordinary readers: single treatises, or selections drawn out of much larger folio works, issued cheaply and in small format rather than as part of a collected set.¹ The series carries the best-known titles in the catalogue — Sibbes's The Bruised Reed, Watson's Heaven Taken by Storm, Rutherford's letters — alongside less familiar authors, and the volumes here run across twenty-six different Puritan writers. No source consulted gives the year the series began; the dates recorded on the volumes below are those of the printings currently offered.
