9Marks: Building Healthy Churches
One mark of a healthy church per volume · ongoing · 15-volume set
Short hardbacks, one to each of the marks Mark Dever set out in Nine Marks of a Healthy Church, published by Crossway in association with the 9Marks church network and edited by Dever and Jonathan Leeman.1 Each volume is a plain introduction to one biblical command about the local church - membership, discipline, elders, sound doctrine, expositional preaching, evangelism, missions, prayer, deacons - written for a pastor or a church member rather than for a scholar, and issued as a small printed caseside rather than a paperback.2 Crossway now sells the set as fifteen volumes; the catalogue holds five.
