Tyndale House Publishers was founded in 1962 by Kenneth N. Taylor, whose paraphrase The Living Bible — later developed into the New Living Translation — funded the company.1 Based in Carol Stream, Illinois, it acquired the academic reprint house Hendrickson Publishers in 2021.2
