A brief history

Thomas Nelson was founded in 1798 in Edinburgh, Scotland, by the bookseller Thomas Nelson, and is one of the oldest publishing houses in the world.1 Now based in Nashville, it is a major Christian trade publisher and, since 2011–2012, part of HarperCollins Christian Publishing alongside Zondervan.2
