History
A brief history
Founded in 1991 by Tim and Kathy Thornborough, who began publishing from a spare bedroom, and trading at first as St Matthias Press before taking the name The Good Book Company in 2000.1 Based at Epsom in Surrey, it publishes short, plainly written books and Bible-study material rather than academic theology, and has since opened a North American arm.2
