History
A brief history
Paideia Press was a small Reformed publisher at Jordan Station, Ontario, working in the tradition of Dutch neo-Calvinist philosophy; over its active life it issued some 273 titles, among them S. G. De Graaff's four-volume Promise and Deliverance and Anne de Vries's Story Bible.1 The house lapsed and was later revived by the Reformational Publishing Project, which reactivated the Paideia imprint to carry the English edition of Herman Dooyeweerd's collected works, produced with the Dooyeweerd Centre.2 In 2024 the press, its titles and its copyrights were donated to the Cántaro Institute, which now publishes under the name.3 Its edition catalogued here is the 1980 English translation of Herman Bavinck's The Certainty of Faith. No source consulted gives a founding date.
