History
A brief history
Founded in 2006 and based at Greensboro, North Carolina, New Growth Press publishes books, small-group material and the short booklets called minibooks that are a staple of pastoral care.1 Much of its list comes from the Christian Counseling and Educational Foundation, founded in 1968 to argue that Scripture rather than secular psychology should be the basis of pastoral counselling; the CCEF authors in this catalogue, Edward T. Welch among them, publish through it.2
