History
A brief history
Crossroad began in 1980 as an imprint of the Episcopal Seabury Press, and took over the lists of the Herder houses - B. Herder of St Louis, founded 1884, and Herder and Herder of New York - which carry the name of a German publishing family in business since 1798.12 Its list is Catholic and largely theological: Rahner, Balthasar, Schillebeeckx and the Milestones in Catholic Theology series, of which the volume held here, Rahner's The Trinity, is one.2
