Cistercian Publications
Cistercian, monastic, and patristic texts.
History
A brief history
Founded in 1968 by Cistercian monks of St. Joseph's Abbey, Spencer, Massachusetts, who found English translations of the early Cistercian writers hard to come by and set up a press to make them.1 The editorial offices moved to Kalamazoo in 1973, and the imprint has since broadened from the Cistercian fathers to monastic history and spirituality generally; it is now published by Liturgical Press.2
