Notes
The short methodological companion to the large Commentary on the New Testament Use of the Old Testament, also held here: how to identify a quotation or allusion, how to read it against its Old Testament context, and what the New Testament writers were doing when they used it. Beale sets out a nine-step procedure and works examples through it. Baker's own listing gives 192 pages; the Library of Congress record was catalogued before pagination was fixed and prints an empty bibliography reference.
