Notes
Withdrawn from print by P&R in late 2018. An anonymous researcher sent the publisher evidence that the commentary carried substantial unattributed material from sermons preached by Sinclair B. Ferguson — catalogued here — some years before the book appeared. P&R's public statement described it as “unattributed content from sermons by another pastor” and said the lack of attribution appeared to result from unclear note-taking more than a decade before the commentary was written; Thomas's presbytery later admonished him for unintentional plagiarism. Paginated xvi + 784; retailers round to 800. Copies already sold remain in circulation, which is why the volume is catalogued rather than deleted. It is the third withdrawn commentary in this collection, after Köstenberger's BECNT John and O'Brien's Pillar Hebrews and Ephesians.
